I predict Ryan will use this to get himself nominated in Cleveland

If Ryan rcan walk away from this looking good (even if in his own mind), he will use it get himself named as Trump's replacement. If it goes south, it could be the end of his speakership.

Ryan like the rest of the GOPs are some selfish a-holes and hide behind their gawd.

T-rump's speech was the shits. Ryan do not like him at all. Cruz is trying to set himself up for the choice.

Guns and gawd are the GOP's passion. They need to allow guns at their convention. GOPers want guns everywhere else (except at the NA headquarters). Wonder why?

Not when such a huge majority on every side want guns to be controlled.
This insanity only makes Ryan and the republicans look terrible.

IMHO...

Any swap in Republican candidates is an automatic death sentence and he knows it. He doesn't want to be known as a two time loser.

He recovered nicely from the Romney run but he is going to play the long game and chalk this POTUS election as a loss and focus on the state and local.

The only solid memory of those debates, for me, was the "Please proceed" bit...

In the last year or so, I feel like he has really upped his political IQ and started playing smarter and for the long term.

... as I just got back to Afghanistan (again).

I just get the high points right now. Never Trump is making another go at it and the sit in at the house...

That about exhausts my knowledge on the topic.

A lot of Trump's angry voters will not vote for an establishment Republican.

He should've acquiesced hours ago. The only solution is to give in to the vote. It's not difficult.
