NRA Radio Host Compares Congressmen Staging Sit-In Over Gun Control To ‘Criminals And Terrorists’

Talk about a classic case of projection!!!

A National Rifle Association radio host compared the lawmakers staging a sit-in at the House of Representatives over a gun control vote to “criminals and terrorists” on Wednesday.

Cam Edwards, host of the NRA’s “Cam & Company,” griped that the lawmakers were acting “in violation of House rules on photography” because they livestreamed the event after House Republicans cut off C-SPAN cameras.

Then, Edwards said:

“So in order to push legislation that the sponsors say would not have prevented the attacks in Orlando, Florida, they’re also going to flout the House rules. Kind of like, you know, criminals and terrorists flout the rules that we have in place right now and will continue to do so?”

Compared the Democratic sit-in to 'juvenile college students in need of a spanking'.
Said they're trying to overthrow the democratic (small 'd') process.

.... and has been for at least 20 years. If you are still sending them money please reconsider, they decided corporate money was more important than yours.

and the Diane Rehm show alone is worth the 20 bucks. The millions from the McDonald's fortune they got and a few bucks from advertising help keep them alive, not turn them into Fox.

Last night was an excellent discussion of Brexit, complete with analyses of Scottish and Irish problems with an exit, realistic looks at finances and regulation, ties to the Commonwealth, and exploring xenophobia. Better than I've seen from most US media.

My local station does happen to need my money. And appreciates it.

.... is indeed an oasis of intelligence and fairness in the desert of NPR news whose biases could not be more obvious.

Even in the network MSM there is an occasional true voice among the junk. It is not enough.
