Clean sweep for Scotland, not a single constituency voted for leave.

Nicola Sturgeon @NicolaSturgeon

Every Scottish council has now declared. It's a clean sweep for #Remain in Scotland. Well done everyone #EUref

Scotland will seek independence now. Cameron's legacy will be breaking up two unions. Neither needed to happen.

This will be Cameron's legacy. He will be known as the Prime Minster who destroyed Europe and the UK.

It's a horrible self-inflicted wound for the UK.

1. Now that the UK is leaving the EU, many other nations may consider it. This is especially true if the UK gets a decent deal from the EU. If the UK gets many or all of the perks of membership without any of the obligations or downsides of actual EU membership, there are many other nations who would want the same. This will lead to a break up of the EU. This will lead to increased nationalism across Europe, and we know what a pre-World War Europe is capable of doing.

2. Obviously, this results in the UK leaving the EU.

3. There is a possibility that at the least Scotland may hold another referendum to leave the UK and this time they will have a stronger argument: we want to remain with the EU. This means there is a breakup of the UK.

These things will be David Cameron's legacy.

One of the BIG factors fueling last year's referendum result was the possibility of a Brexit.

And what will happen in Northern Ireland? See EU referendum result: Sinn Fein's Martin McGuinness calls for border poll on united Ireland after Brexit http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/brexit-northern-ireland-eu-referendum-result-latest-live-border-poll-united-martin-mcguinness-a7099276.html

THAT was surprising.

Wonder if London will declare itself a separate state now since Scotland, Northern Ireland AND London voted to Remain.

Interesting times.

It must suck to be Merkel today. Can the Nexit, Swexit, Dexit be far behind? (Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark)

My guess is that a French exit (Frexit?) led by the National Front is next.
