... hatred of being ruled by unelected bureaucrats in Brussels and fear that the country cannot survive more neoliberal economics.

I have no problem with that.

The voting majority in the UK have the same human nature as we do. Hate and fear are part of that, for sure. But, hate and fear are not usually the dominant effector on the direction of government.

If it was hate and fear that drove the brexit voters to turnout, then the roots of that hate and fear must be understood by the next government in the UK, and by governments which have operated under similar political assumptions.

Dignity and self-determination.

Sovereignty and independence.

Rejecting the decrees of the 1% and of the bankster class.

Depends who you talk to. But the indigenous peoples that live there have voted.

One man's fear is another's concern.

There are a lot of reasons for the Brexit. I think it's a stupid idea, but understand a lot of the thinking and that my opinion is pretty much a waste of ATP. My opinion doesn't matter.

Hate and whiteness - better to be all white and poor than rich and living amongst brown people.

in 1964..famous ad with an H Bomb going off..against Goldwater..it ain't a pretty game.

People and groups want...Power..and they do anything and say anything to get it
....Fear and Hate are part of the game....It is an ugly game..and very often..people with power abuse it..

Look at what the last Bush did to this country.......war, torture, severe recession, and more...
and...I don't think Bush or Cheney have ever apologized for one so called, "major mistake" that they made..

Like, "Going to war was a mistake"....they won't ever do it..
