It sounds like the Neo-Nazis did the stabbing of the counter protesters here. This is breaking and nobody really knows what happened yet:

Multiple people were stabbed Sunday outside the state capital in Sacramento after clashes between neo-Nazis and counter demonstrators, officials said.

It was unclear how many people were stabbed or their conditions. The Sacramento Fire Department described the incident as a “mass casualty event” and said it was treating patients.

A neo-Nazi group had planned an event at the site for several weeks, and there was an effort on social media for others to protests against them.

Photos on social media show blood on the sidewalk of the park where the violence occurred as well as police taping off the area.
