The British electorate was 90% white and only 10% minority, basically reflecting the population breakdown in the United Kingdom (87% white and 13% minority). The white vote was 53% to 47% for Leave.

So, if in November, Trump receives just 53% of the white vote to Hillary's 47% (and that's expected to be 70% of the total vote), and Hillary maintains the Obama vote with minorities (she is currently over performing even Obama's 2008 totals and should receive about 80%), Hillary will win the election by over 16 million votes. That would translate into at least 38 states (including all the big ones, except Texas). Result:Landslide

So, when you hear that we should worry because of the Brexit vote, just remember, facts are a stronger indicator than rhetoric.

Brexit won, right? Which means it's a more popular position than stay. You also should realize that white people voting 53-47 vs the winning margin overall is not statistically significant. What happened to democrats being against International corporations? You people act like Brexit lost 95-5 and Halliburton poured a billion dollars into an ad campaign for it.

2. I realize everything

I'm not talking about the merits of Brexit, just the demographic make up of the vote last Friday. That Great Britain can not translate into an American vote is obvious and that anyone who points to that vote as a harbinger of a Trump vote in the U.S. is missing the demographic break down.

That's all I'm saying. I couldn't give two shits how the British vote on who they elect or what orgizations they want to join.

have to do with Trump winning in a country that is 68% white? If white voters in the USA vote for Trump like they did in the UK for Brexit, Hillary wins in a landslide, because POC votes count, POC are going to vote 80-20 to 95-5 against Trump, and there are more of us in America.
