McConnell asked for a show of hands of who Thought Trump would win. No one raised their hands.

At an intimate fundraiser Wednesday for Rep. Joseph J. Heck (R-Nev.), who is running for the Senate, McConnell asked the group of about a dozen supporters how many of them think Trump can win. About half of the attendees raised their hands. But when McConnell then asked how many thought Trump would win, no hands went up, and the room fell silent, according to a person familiar with the scene who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss a closed event.

Trump is the monstrosity conceived the night before Obama's first inaugural, and McConnell's DNA is all over the thing.

It's neither here nor there, but I'm kind of amused by the thought of Mitch McConnell in Las Vegas.

Doesn't exactly seem to be his kind of town.

I can never find a person that will admit to liking Mitch McConnell. Even Republicans.
Some people think it's bc KY doesn't want to lose its power in government. I think that's giving us too much credit. A couple things need to happen to take him down.
1.) He needs to be up for re election in a presidential year.

2.) There needs to be an opponent that has name recognition and a positive vision for the commonwealth.

3.)When we go negative we need to focus.

Alison Lundergan Grimes was a good candidate. But it wasn't a Presidential year. So democrats stayed home. 🙄
Also, I hate this, but she needs to just go by Alison Grimes. It's petty and superficial. But 3 names sounds pretentious in "these parts" I think she keeps it bc of her Dads name recognition, but she is strong enough in her own right. Seriously, look out for this girl in the future!
