Trump Supporters Are Stronger Than Combat Vets With PTSD. WTF

I had to post a separate about Trump's remarks. Saying that his supporters have seen everything a combat vet has seen is so vile. I AM SO FUCKING FURIOUS RIGHT NOW AT TRUMP AND HIS C-SUCKING SUPPORTERS. And here is why.

Now I was very lucky to become a mail clerk and company clerk after two weeks of combat operations with B Company 1-5 in 1967-68. So for 11 months I was spared a bad year for the 1st Cav. Our company alone lost 27 men all of whose names I used to be able to remember. I did not see the worst of it.

The worst I saw was when the 1st Cav was part of Operation Pegasus to relief Khe Sahn in March 68. During the night of that campaign our company lost 3 the battalion lost 30 men. We lost our battalion commander and his crew the XO survived. My captain was hit but eventually did to survive the war. (Died at Walter Reed during surgery to repair his voice box.)

That morning we were shelled by the North Vietnamese So I was a little wired. I was told to go down to graves registration to ID our dead. Walking into a tent with 30 mangled bodies was really tough. I could only ID one of ours. So I was really pissed and threw my helmet at a jeep. My 1st Sergeant gave me hell for almost losing it.

Thank goodness that was the worst I saw. And I was a very lucky person to have gotten that clerk job. And that is another story how I got that job.

So I am really really pissed off right now. Because I knew a lot of guys we lost. And they saw hell all year long. C Company lost 16 in one days few months later.

SO TO SAY THE TRUMP SUPPORTING BASTARDS, PRICKS, ASSHOLES SAW AS MUST IS SUCH A GOD DAMNED INSULT. THEY HAVE NOT SEEN SHIT IN THEIR LIVES. TRUMP IS SO DAMNED EVIL.

all the newspaper clippings mom kept, cards and letters they sent to each other - my dad spent much of WW2 in Greenland, working communications - not much was written about what they did until late in 1944....according to one news clipping Mom kept - I also came across Dad's draft papers - the duration of service is what caught my eye - it reads "indefinite" - from 1942....Dad didn't see the worst of it either - but everyone's function during war is critical...

Both brothers served during Viet Nam - one in Air Force at Takhli Air Base Thailand making sure the planes flew,..the other on the roads of Viet Nam delivering supplies...the only story he tells is NOT stopping for anything or anyone..di-di mau..in Vietnamese..

All War Vets are to be held to the highest of respect....

Thank You MasterN for your service...We are all in a War Now to save our country from this abomination and take over..we are now all warriors......be well, sir..

I've been in both intense combat situations and in situations where I had to deal with the dead. Dealing with the dead is by far more upsetting to me. I was scared and angry in combat, but seeing what people could to do each other with their weapons was absolutely horrifying.

he was speaking to a veteran's group, and not just a generic bunch of rabid Trumplings, so he was probably right that many in that room had seen those thing.

Trump, speaking to a group of veterans in Reston, Va., was asked whether he would support boosting the roles of chaplains and faith-based programs to promote mental resiliency among service members and veterans. He indicated he would, and then shifted quickly to opine on problems he sees in the care veterans receive.

“When you talk about the mental health problems, when people come back from war and combat and they see things that maybe a lot of the folks in this room have seen many times over and you’re strong and you can handle it,” Trump said. “But a lot of people can’t handle it. And they see horror stories. They see events that you couldn’t see in a movie, nobody would believe it.”

What he said wasn't nearly as bad as what people are painting it. I hope our people don't fall into an our supporters can beat up your supporters shouting match.

that there are people who "can't handle it" and that they are not "strong." On par with his criticism of those taken prisoner. It's all m macho tough guy crap which is his only real standard.

who she claimed came out of the service, never experiencing combat, with PTSD caused by Obama, which led him to charged with assault in the fourth degree and recklessly injuring, interfering with the report of a domestic violence crime, and possession of a firearm while intoxicated.

Killing animals and humans are just 'sport' for him. He's the only perfect person on the planet and of course he's so very strong that he was a fucking draft dodger .

Yes, he's full of shit and out of line, but he wasn't talking to a bunch of ladies at a coffee klatch.

He's still an asshole. I don't understand how any vet could support him, but many appear to.
