"Obamas popularity grows by the day.
Within a couple of years his numbers will be through the roof. The reasons are quite simpleeven though they are not fully appreciated today.
Family values actually means family values:
A beautiful family with unimpeachable values. What type of deplorable person would struggle with the family values on display for the last eight years? Compare this family with the Palin familywhich family has exhibited pristine values? It is quite brilliant to recognize that there is still such a thing as American exceptionalism."

(31,233 posts)Posting PBO's accomplishments is now "fawning" on DU. SMH.
Tarheel_Dem
(31,233 posts)not over that. There are plenty of sites out there where you can trash this president to your heart's content, but posting articles that enumerate his achievements is "fawning"? I can just imagine where that attitude comes from.

(83,746 posts)Why is it so bad to mention that he and his family have honored the White House with grace and dignity?

Tarheel_Dem
(31,233 posts)why bother to post snarky shit in response to it? Many "Democrats" are actually pretty stoked that we have a popular POTUS, and folks like you shouldn't be allowed to harsh that buzz.

(27,787 posts)We had almost 8 years of some DU members trashing Obama, predicting he'd kill Social Security, Medicare, invade Iran ... on and on and on ...
But the thing we should worry about now is "fawning" over Obama.

(27,787 posts)... Years tends to take a toll on a person.
They usually flame out with a flurry of profanity, or develop multiple personas.
Some will just fizzle out, broken by the reality that Obama has actually been a great President who will be remembered as such.
Got to be painful.
OMG, you get funnier by the day
Tarheel_Dem
(31,233 posts)springs to mind, but I won't name it here. I keep hoping they'll eventually just let go of their hatred, or move on from this site which actually supports Democrats.

(931 posts)If you think I am remotely interested in the vacuous opinions of people who do not read the content or understand that the content is is not an opinion piece but a factual detailing of the mans record -well then you are not much more with it than a Trumpeteer. If you actually had an intelligent rebuttal to the content -then of course I would be interested. (Patrick)
