"The bad news is that we're about to get hit with a powerful hurricane. The good news? Well, actually, it's more bad news: Several prediction tracks show Hurricane Matthew could hit Florida, make a U-turn then hit the state again.

But meteorologists say these predictions could change.

"Right now, we're not even worried about that. We need to get through this first round then we can look into the possibilities and what the storm could do," said Jerry Combs, a meteorologists at the National Weather Service.

All models show Matthew will travel along the nation's east coast but several show that after it skims along Florida's coast late Thursday or early Friday, the storm will turn east and then make a U-turn, targeting Florida for a second time."

That's right where our home and business is. I don't care if the house blows away, but if our business is damaged the hardship will be heartbreaking. Too many families counting on us.

Going to sandbag now. My feeling is the North wind will be of some benefit since the ICW is north south oriented

Our business is 2 blocks from the ICW
