Just awful beyond words. Another casualty of America's unchecked bullying epidemic. Our sick society considers bullying to almost be a rite of passage that you should endure while growing up. That's why I believe the issue is never taken seriously. Just think about it. Our society loves bullies. It's why people like Trump became popular. Rather then being seen as the abusive slime they are, certain segments of our society instead see them as 'winners' and 'go getters'.

KERRVILLE -- A disabled child’s parents say that their son was intentionally set on fire. Now, one child is in custody facing serious charges.

The open field near Wallace Street in Kerrville is where Tanya Casper says that her nephew was lured, where one boy doused him with gasoline and another set him on fire.

The 10-year-old named Kayden is still in a medically induced coma as of Wednesday night.

“He wore a hearing aid, talked with a lisp… I mean, he was challenged from the get-go.” She said. “And for him to face this new challenge, it’s going to be overwhelming.

Far more horrific than the fact this was done TO a child is the fact this was done BY two other children. But I am sure many here think that with a little counseling these two evil shits will turn out just fine.

What motivated this particularly sick act. It goes well beyond normal bullying. I wonder if the two perps were reading some kind of nazi literature about how the disabled are a drain on society and need extermination. Just trying to think about where this evil might have come from to begin with. They might have also been getting psychically/sexually abused at home.

Either way, I don't want them out in society again. Life without parole would be a fitting punishment. I know they're 'only kids' but they set a handicapped boy on fire just to watch him burn. I don't want these two creeps out among normal people again.

2. what about the parents of the bully?

How in the world do such parents ignore that their kid is a bully and potential murderer? What do you want to bet that one or both of those parents are bullys and there's daily physical, verbal, and emotional abuse in that home? Child protective services need to remove any other kids from that home. Yikes!
