Both Christie and Cruz are so craven and scared of Reince Priebus messing with their 2020 chances, they're keeping to their signed pledge to back the nominee, even though that nominee humiliated them.

Ultimately, this isn't going to work in their favor. They'll be covered in Trump tar for a few election cycles to come.
