If I were Hillary Clinton tonight all I'd say about the sexual assault/rape culture comments

(and there are many) is how do you plan to keep American women safe if you feel you can violate their bodies - what exactly are you telling young boys and men?

about Bill, etc.

She would do well to adorn a facial expression that has a very slight show of pity, rather than the disgust that would be natural.

And with the guidance of their religion, decided to put it all behind them and work on keeping their marriage of forty one years strong.

That will appeal to the evangelical voters who love hearing stories of redemption. It will also be a subtle dig at Trump's multiple marriages and his inability to stay with one woman.

And unlike anything Trump has every said or done it would be classy. Remember what Michelle Obama said, “When they go low, we go high.”

It is my understanding that the questions will come from moderators and audience members.

Who gets to ask questions?

Unlike the previous debate, where the two candidates were asked questions by the moderator and the audience was (supposedly) silent, this format involves the audience. The moderators—in this case Anderson Cooper and Martha Raddatz—will ask questions for the first half of the debate, then the audience will have time for about eight questions.

Who choses the questions from the audience?

The moderators have control over who asks the questions and what questions are asked. It’s not clear how the selection process works, though it’s likely that questions are screened before the start of the debate. A leaked 2004 memorandum (pdf) of understanding from the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD), the organization that sets the rules and sponsors the debate, shows that very little direction is given about the selection process.

Will the candidates ask each other direct questions?

They are not supposed to, although in the previous debate Trump interrupted Clinton so many times (51, to be specific) so it’s likely that there will be some back and forth between the candidates.

Trump will make allegations in his replies, that Hillary will probably need to respond to (if she doesn't, Trump's allegations will get more outrageous, I'm sure, even if he's meant to be talking about something totally different).

The LWV hosts them every election season in my city. The moderators ask basic questions and audience members submit their questions which may or may not be chosen. It's a good system where we don't see childish back and forth.

The reason we get nothing but really foolish verbal WWFs to stand in for presidential debates is that supporters want it that way. The less substance the better is the standard of debates not run by neutral organizations.

I hope Hillary will focus on substance and ignores any barbs from Trump rather than making some kindergarten worthy remarks. It will be far more classy and show real intellect and grace to not participate in his game.
