Trump's backers won't accept it and either stay home, write him in, or challenge the fact that they voted for Donald J Trump, as stated on the official ballot and go to court or grab their guns.

And the GOP looks even more idiotic.

Who has $300 million laying around that could by spent like? If you mean the RNC, their current FEC Filing says that they only "raised $23.4 million in August and currently has $40.6 million cash on hand."

Even so, there would be all kinds of huge legal issues, not to mention all the folks who donated their hard earned money who would be really pissed if it was even possible to use that money to bribe their candidate of choice to throw the election.
