PALM COAST, FL (WCMH) Family members of a 87-year-old Florida woman know shes okay, thanks to a helpful pizza delivery driver.
The family of 87-year-old Claire Olsen hadnt heard from her for two days after Hurricane Matthew came through. They started looking for a way to get someone to check on her.
When police said they couldnt help, they decided to order a pizza.
WFTV reports when driver Lance Tyler looked at the receipt, there was an instruction to call a specific phone number. Tyler figured the owner of the house just had some big dogs that needed to be put away.
The way that he answered the phone, Is she there? Is she okay? It sounded like he was worried, Tyler told WFTV.
So he knocked on the door and said delivery. I said I didnt order anything! He says Your grandson did,' said Olsen.

(My son did pizza delivery for several years, so I find this especially heart warming.)
