Even though Huff Post headline declares it's over for Trump. One hopes it is. However it declares that Trump support did not totally collapse. His national percentage stuck around 38%. That means the infected pus that remains will still have to somehow be excised or neutralized.
38% means that too many Americans still have their heads up their collective asses. These deplorables will continue to seethe with hatred. It is just appalling that so many Americans support the POS Trump. They are willing to put a psycho in the White House with the "football" and they are willing to put a religious extremist nutmeg a heartbeat away from the presidency. A man who would put treasonous and destructive RW religious policies in action.
Such and administration would destroy this country. And we have already damaged out reputation throughout the world.
Addendum. Correction to word. "pus".

Here is a little perspective to bring us back to reality:

In addition, unless we take back the Senate also, the Supreme Court will be a very uncertain issue

(3,568 posts)Pus doesn't fester on its own, it's a result of the festering, at least as far as I know. Using puss in the headline is confusing. I don't get the sense of it.
I'm not trying to be irritating, I just don't get why you're sticking with that word.
