10. I'm in Issa's district too, love, love Applegate's ads against Slimster Issa.

Each ad is a mic drop ag Issa, especially the one saying Issa is one of the "Tea Party Rebs" who voted against funds for 911 Responders, quoting Issa insisting that he wasn't going to give more money for "what was simply a plane crash." Applegate's first ad inextricably tied Issa and Trump's sleazy, greedy, egregious politics of self-enrichment together.. Applegate's latest ad now features Issa as a major campaign cheerleader for Trump, stressing Issa even ramped up his Trump support after Trump's history of sexual assault went mainstream.

The demographics of this district are changing, with more Hispanics inland and more Dems from North San Diego Coastal strip drawn in with latest boundaries. Also (Marine retired) Colonel Applegate has taken away a big chunk of Issa's assumed base @ Camp Pendleton.

I've never seen an Issa ad on tv before, probably because Issa never felt that his gravy train was in jeopardy. Applegate is running a textbook campaign against a major Republican creep; he's got a huge chance of getting Issa out of Congress!
