Trump’s son-in-law already working to set up Trump TV ahead of looming election defeat

In an ideal world, Donald Trump would simply disappear after losing in November — but we don’t live in that world.

Instead, he will very likely start up his own cable news channel, and the Financial Times reports that Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner has already started informal talks to get the network off the ground.

Specifically, the publication reports that Kushner has already “contacted Aryeh Bourkoff, the founder and chief executive of LionTree, a boutique investment bank, within the past couple of months.” LionTree, the Financial Times notes, is well known for advising cable television and other media deals.

Although a Trump-led cable news network definitely has the potential to get ratings, the Financial Times says that cable companies might not be enthusiastic about taking on yet another news station, especially at a time when more people are cutting the cord and watching shows online.

I'd hate to see another trump outlet get developed. Isn't the world sick of his lies yet?
