Nice, huh? They finally get around to repairing some awful damage

I am appalled that it took so long, but a Gitmo detainee who was subject to (I LOVE this one as heard on a radio news report of this) "forceful rectal hydration" was finally given surgery to reconstruct the body parts damaged a decade ago (under the Cheney/Rumsfeld regime).

And I wish the popular media could get their act together sufficiently to ask the congressional leadership why they haven't authorized the funds to close down this concentration camp.
