Trump logic

So, for the sake of argument, let us assume for this intellectual exercise only, that what Joe did was wrong and he got away with it. Should we invalidate a wrong because someone did a wrong and got away with it? So if one person gets away with murder or rape or robbery or a speeding ticket, that thereafter, that should be the excuse that makes a person morally and ethically justified to get away with those actions going forward?
The "little Billy did it too and didn't get in trouble" is not how the adult world works. This type of justification is the answer you expect from a young child.
More importantly, the logical fallacy these arguments create in the Trump campaign talking points is a hole big enough to sail an aircraft carrier through:
*The previous argument is that it was "locker room talk" and not unusual or that big of deal.
*On another front , it never happened at all and all these people are lying.
*now on this current argument, other political figures have done the same or worse and no one complained about them, which by default, means he did do the things that people excuse him of but so did others and their offenses are worse so don't blame Trump and/or make a big deal of it to Trump.
The media MUST confront Trump and his surrogates about their gaslighting and other ridiculous political tricks. November cannot come soon enough.
