What do you think will happen to this sad, pitiful man after November 8?
My guess is that he'll throw a hissyfit of epic proportions when he loses and refuse to concede. Worst case scenario is that some of his most deranged supporters actually riot. Best case scenario is that nothing happens, everyone ignores the whiny little asshole, and the attention turns to, where it rightfully belongs, on the incoming administration of President-elect Hillary Rodham Clinton.
For the next couple of years, Trump will whine on Twitter about everything President Clinton does. He'll bitch and moan about how things would be so much better if he was POTUS. He'll unquestionably cash in on his presidential run. He'll "write" (meaning someone else) a book that, I have no doubt, will become a best-seller as his brain-dead supporters hand over their hard-earned cash to buy it. He might try to create another reality show or even his own TV station. He might get his own show on FOX, which will probably end with him getting fired after he says something so incredibly idiotic and offensive that even the lackeys of Rupert Murdoch won't stand for it.
Eventually, however, I suspect people will just stop caring about him, like they did with Sarah Palin. He'll still pop up on TV or on Twitter from time to time to offer his worthless opinions but most Americans will no longer give a shit what the crazy old man has to say.
He'll be swamped with lawsuits for the next couple of years from the victims of his Trump University scam, the various women he sexually assaulted, that woman he allegedly raped when she was a child, etc. and he'll lose a ton of money as people boycott his hotels. Life will not be fun for him.
When death finally claims Donald John Trump, he'll have a place in history that I'm sure he dreads most of all. He won't be admired. He won't be reviled. He'll simply be remembered as an embarrassing footnote in this country's history and nothing more.

(13,771 posts)Just like Sarah Palin! He'll pop up once in awhile, but then again he may end up in jail for fraud, tax invasion or molesting someone?

(27,045 posts)for a newer model. After all, he's said that a woman over 35 is over the hill. This one is already in her mid-40s.

(11,589 posts)I don't know what Melania will do, but should she choose to leave, I don't know if he could connect to another person.
I don't like Melania, but she is still a person. There is a part of me that feels like she is going thru a wringer at this point. She can't speak badly of her husband -- not in this environment. She can't leave, She cannot do anything but support him. Keep in mind, they have a child.
He's a vindictive man.
It's really sad.

(841 posts)I could see that happening. He already has a huge audience of supporters who would tune in and watch. He would probably team up with the folks over at Breitbart. Just my two cents.

i would very much like to see him ruined. of course he'll just use bankruptcy laws to get out of losing billions

(14,274 posts)They do not have much of a presence in urban population centers. I expect his supporters to do a lot of impotent grumbling. Much like they do now.
