President Obama Writes a School-Excuse Note For 5-Year-Old White House Visitor

This isn't news, but it is freaking adorable. Here's the official White House caption: "President Barack Obama writes a school excuse note for Alanah Poullard, 5, while visiting with Wounded Warriors and their families in the East Room during their tour of the White House, Sept. 19, 2013. Alanah asked for a note to show her kindergarten teacher."

There has never been enough credit given to them. I guess it's because they are black.

They made no mistakes, and they were perfect. That is bad for the Republicans looking out for any misstep.

We have so many sweet memories of the President, and it's a pleasure to relive them! As we count down the final months of this remarkable administration, I think it will lift our hearts to remember the lighter moments. This is one of my favorites:

It surely is a pleasure to relive those happy memories. Thank you for that lovely photo! The joy on their faces is a sight to behold! They'll remember that occasion for the rest of their lives.

just two in millions of reasons why President Obama is @ 57% in our Country's approval ratings.

And, we're the ones who supported him all these years because we knew he had America's and our best interests at heart, brer.

would not do this stuff. I think it is why President Obama stays grounded. He is in contact with regular people. He always seems to know what is in the news, what is going on.
