(3,660 posts)Just when you would think someone should most usefully know they have been so utterly yet smugly wrong and misguided for decades, they cannot be shown to be wrong because they were wrong.
It's the only part of the ontological argument where believers have an advantage. Not on the merits of their claims of course, but because at least in their imaginations it's plausible, and oh so lovingly dwelt upon, that nonbelievers will be able to learn of their putative error.
