Trumps' lawyers & suing the NYT

I looked for an update on Trumps' lawyers threatening to sue the NYT on the 13th,
found nothing on line about current legal actions.The NYT lawyer did have 10/17/2016 article in the Times stating they had not heard back as of that date. Anyone know if there is follow up on this? Could it have been...bluster& an attempt @ intimidating women who were groped and the NYT?
