Oh, What a relief it is - voted today

In the Panhandle of Florida near Pensacola. The line was about 1/2 hr. long and it moved along pretty quickly. After voting, I noticed a tally board that had early voting results - TRUMP a bit over 76,000 - HILLARY a bit over 25,000 - OTHERS ( I guess Lib's, Green, Independent) - 26,000.

A bit disappointing, but the Panhandle is really, really deep red and those numbers - to me - are encouraging.

Whew, glad that's over -

that early votes were actually counted until Election night. Are you sure the figures you saw are actual votes?

7. Florida County Supervisors of Elections can post tallies

That count by early voting polling places and that are broken down by party.

Fro an example, take a look at the "snapshot" for Leon County: http://www.leonvotes.org/
Click on "Early Votes by Location" - that will open a PDF with the statistics. Right now the document is complete as of yesterday's totals. Very soon it will be updated to include today's totals.

I'm not sure if all 67 county Supervisors of Elections do it, but most of the counties do.

There is generally MUCH more information in the body of a post than in the subject line. This is not Twitter - we don't have to stop at 140 characters.

tally said there was 76,000 votes for Trump and 25,000 votes for Hillary. Clearly counties aren't supposed to count votes before the election night.
It would also be wrong to assume that 100% of republicans would vote for Trump, or that 100% of democrats would vote for Hillary.

OP made a claim that when he went to vote, he saw a tally that claimed how many people voted for Trump and how many people voted for Hillary. Now, either OP is wrong, or he needs to contact someone about that. Because counties aren't supposed to count the votes until election night.

To generate those large of votes yet.

I've looked at Escambia County, Santa Rosa County and Okaloosa County. Combined they would not produce those numbers. On the other hand the state totals would be much higher.

Where those posted inside the polling location? Or outside by someone other than the officials in charge of the voting?

Only thing I can tell you is that there has been huge turnouts and we (in Santa Rosa county) have 4 early voting locations. Also, it could be mail-in ballots included in those numbers - board didn't say and it just gave the numbers I posted.

Their voter database is excellent and they can tell you if those figures are correct and if posting them like that is legitimate. I don't think posing results like that is legal at all.

Here are the numbers on the Santa Rosa County Supervisor of Elections website are of now:

Not quite the "TRUMP a bit over 76,000 - HILLARY a bit over 25,000 - OTHERS ( I guess Lib's, Green, Independent) - 26,000" that you cited so those numbers are not the ones for the county. The Florida Election Watch website is still stuck on the August Primary so there are no tuurnout results available from them. And the numbers you mention are far too low to be state wide anyway.

In my defense, I didn't have my glasses on. I guess I had better go down to the local polling place and take another look.

Thanks Csziggy for the website update.

On the top of the Santa Rosa Supervisor of Elections site they list the total registered voters as:
Democrat: 26,427
Republican: 76,307
Other: 28,180
Total: 130,914
http://www.votesantarosa.com/

Those figures are pretty close to the numbers you mentioned in the OP.
