Pretty sure he didn't just start doing it in the 90s. He was doing it in the 80s to women I knew in the music biz. This type of behavior usually starts in high school, so there would be plenty of women familiar with his MO.

Sex addiction leads to a need for sex that interferes with living a healthy life. It does not lead to sexual assault.

The asshole CAN help himself from molesting women, sex addict or not. He CHOOSES NOT TO.

Everyone can stop himself from sexually assaulting strangers and acquaintances. Just as everyone can stop himself from murdering strangers and acquaintances. Those who murder and assault people choose to do so.
