Trump would fall right into the terrorist's trap

Anyone remember the fall of the Soviet Union?

I bet the terrorist's do. Al Qaeda did when they attacked the United States on 911 in an attempt to provoke a war. And when the Bush administration fell for it, it almost broke the country.

Part of the reason the Soviet Union became destabilized and toppled was because treasure was diverted from domestic concerns to fighting a war in Afganistan.

If the terrorist's could get a president in the United States eager to go all in on a war with them, a president who is vulnerable to tests of his bravado, a president willing to use overwhelming force and engage in a prolonged war over any small slight, perhaps they are thinking they could topple the United States just like the Soviet Union.

If you were the terrorist's you'd have to conclude Donald Trump, based on his brash talk, would be the fish they want to bite that hook.
