This Texas Bernie supporter just voted

AGAINST the Orange Biff Tannen and Governor Torquemada and FOR Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine.

Hillary ain't perfect, but she's the best chance we have to stave off the horde from tipping this country into a hillbilly authoritarian nightmare.

PS my wife did her part, too. Probably not going to turn Tarrant County but every vote is a step in the right direction.

We might actually have a chance to go blue - first time in what seems like forever I've felt that way.

I'm in a battleground state in a Red county, but if my one vote added to many other Dems in the state can turn Fl Blue, then we did good! Same with you in Texas.

My spouse/pal voted this morning and because I had told her of the screaming repub woman I encountered when voting earlier, she stopped by the demo shade shelter and asked if there had been any more disruptive behavior from the far right. The lady replied yes there had been. Seems a man wearing a Trump t-shirt with disparaging words about Democrats came in being confrontational and was asked to leave by the election officials. He was told he couldn't wear that shirt inside the building and he said he had no other shirt to wear. He insisted, they threatened to call the sheriff. Off to the side, a senior Republican man came over and explained the law to him and he returned to his truck and changed shirts. Oh my goodness, he lied!

and it was NOT against the Orange turd. It was for the most qualified, and most scrutinized person(man or woman) to run for President.

This afternoon in Collin County. Taking my Mom who is 80. I only wish my father were here. He adored Hillary and would have loved to vote for her. He always said "She is a sharp individual ".

much worse than what I've seen, probably even what Hillary has seen. Even if she didn't vote for Hillary, that's okay. She had the option.

She remembers all too well the old days. Also she was lucky enough to marry a man who was not a misogynist. I had 3 brothers, and he always told me I could do anything as well as as my them.

Hillary could have been arrogant about her win and said she has a mandate and doesn't have to listen to he who came a close second. She could have instead courted the Repubican-lite vote. But she chose to work with Bernie and accepted some of his more progressive policy ideas into her own platform.

I would still have preferred Bernie, not for any other reason than to have a more aggressive progressive in office who was not beholden to any big dark money. Sorry, that is how I still feel, and I think many Bernie supporters do too.

But I respect how Hillary has conducted herself with humility and grace. And her handling of Donald in those debates was awesome. Not to mention there's a glass ceiling that is long past due for a shattering.

NRH to be exact. I voted on Monday, and it was busier than I have ever seen it. This was the first time I ever voted early, so I can only compare to election days past. Seemed to be a higher percentage of women than normal- hopefully that bodes well. The state has been getting purple- I hope it tips. Winning Texas would be an exclamation point and ensure a landslide.

I live between there and the middle school on Rufe Snow. We ought to meet up sometime. I can't do it this week, but have you been to Cucos yet? They are the Cuban sandwich shop just west of the center on Glenview. I always get the deluxe, which is a Cuban with onion, lettuce, tomato, and mustard. In fact, I had a 12 inch before I came to work today.
