Will any action really be taken against James Comey, or will it just morph away?

My hunch is nothing is going to happen to him, except he has destroyed his credibility IMO for the way he handled it. The strange timing and only notifying republicans. It's just weird IMO.

IF there is a Madame Pres. Hillary Clinton, and I STILL fully expect that there WILL be, he'll be fired and have not anything to do with a Clinton/Kaine administration.

More than likely, he probably has his next "gig" lined up, because from the blow back and criticism he's received--and even from a few Republicans who were ex FBI people--on what he did in releasing something into the election that he had no business doing, he'd be a complete idiot to think he can still be FBI director under Madame Pres. Clinton.

Some allegations of misconduct by Department attorneys do not fall within the jurisdiction of OPR and are investigated by the Office of the Inspector General (OIG).

OPR's jurisdiction is limited to reviewing allegations of misconduct made against Department of Justice attorneys and law enforcement personnel that relate to the attorneys' exercise of authority to investigate, litigate, or provide legal advice.

The OIG is required to notify OPR of the existence and results of any OIG investigation that reflects upon the professional ethics, competence or integrity of a Department attorney. In such cases, OPR will take appropriate action.

Based on this office and any investigation that may or may not take place..the President CAN FIRE him..maybe on the way out the door Mr. President...

exposure by the general public, especially where many of the public will go off half-cocked with limited information and make their own conclusions just before a presidential election. IMO it's nearing time to put Mr. Comey under investigation.
