Far-right pastor says we don't have to follow the law...

*IF* it is different from "God's laws."

Before the Civil War, slave owners cited "God's law."

before Civil Rights, racists cited "God's law."

Notice a pattern here?

Jim Garlow: ‘Under No Condition Do We Have To Follow Laws That Violate The Word Of God’

By Kyle Mantyla | November 1, 2016 10:27 am

Right-wing pastor Jim Garlow posted a video yesterday promoting his latest book, “Well Versed: Biblical Answers to Today’s Tough Issues,” in which he warned conservative Christians that they are very close to the point when they will be required to “participate in very active civil disobedience” against an “anti-godly government.”

so opposed to organized religion.

At its heart, religion says: Don't think for yourself. Trust us.

Well, I say bullshit.

Plus, of course, different readers of various holy books make different interpretations of the exact same words. So how in the world can I possibly know who to trust, who to turn my own critical think off for?

and he said "give unto Caesar that which is Caesars."

And he said over and over to give your wealth to the poor and stop worrying about where your clothes are coming from or where your next meal is coming from. And to loan money to those that will not pay it back.

And " to do under others what you would have them do unto you." And " to love those who despise you. Because it's easy to love those who love you and it's easy to give money to those who will pay it back. "

Actually, most of these awful preachers don't have much in common with Christianity.

Doesn't sound much like Trump and the deplorables.

Trump said if someone screws you then screw them 10x worse. What a philosophy.
