after all he started it. His letter said absolutely nothing about any laws being broken by Hillary only that there
could be information of interest. We have Trump going around saying there is evidence Hillary has broken one law after another, she is a criminal, it's worse than Watergate. Meanwhile we hear nothing from that worthless SOB. I would think Obama would call his ass on
the carpet.

(19,360 posts)First off let me say that I'm confident that Clinton will win. I do believe there are enough independents and moderate Republicans out there that are horrified at the idea of a Trump presidency and will vote accordingly. This being my belief, I am more than a little concerned about what Trump and his supporters will do when he loses. Trump will not accept defeat graciously, and will attempt to enrage his supporters after the election, but as he has little skill in formulating plans of action I don't see him coordinating any mass insurections. What he will succeed in doing is inciting a few of his more unhinged supporters into committing acts of violence and property destruction. That will be unfortunate and we can only hope that the local and federal law enforcement agencies act swiftly and decisively to show others this will not be tolerated.
To your question though, as we saw in the 2000 election theft, Liberals and Progressives will not riot in the streets. We believe in the rule of law and while we believe in protest as an appropriate means of political behavior, I don't see it escalating to anything even remotely similar to what Trump's followers advocate.
