and would never fly with the common people the way Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden and many other Dems have done.

He's too smart to pay taxes, and too successful to fly commercial.

Sometimes I have to use a seat extender when traveling. I hope that doesn't make me the object of an ugly comment on a forum at some future time.

I like to read all the way down an interesting or funny thread, to see how others react to the ORIGINAL content.

And this part of the thread has devolved into what we criticize others for doing: Going off on a tangent to air our personal grievances, and hiding bigotry while doing so.

We've all had uncomfortable experiences on airplanes - it's the nature of the experience when you are cramped together for hours on end. So share your experiences with friends, on your Facebook page, etc., and see if you can keep your comments relevant to the thread.

I just like the subjectivity of life. We're all full of contradictions, which both drives me(and I'm guessing everyone) nuts, but I also can't get enough of it. Depending on who you're looking at, it can be at least sort of ok to attack them for what someone on another side wouldn't be cool with. Big white guy in a Trump hat? Well, he's a white guy in a Trump hat. The joke writes itself. He's probably judged others on their appearance too, like we all do. Big woman? Maybe if she's white, southern, religious, and votes how her husband votes. Other than that, don't even think about it, or else at the very least you hate women.

What is it with Trumpophiles and their lack of any normal hygiene? Maybe they'd realize how great America can be when you actually bathe every so often.

I don't doubt his political idiocy, but we are out of grade school now and should realize people with different opinions don't necessarily smell.

however, around here its common for people to be OUTRAGED when someone from the other side says something off-color, yet perfectly fine to say equally rude comments about THEM

Every side has a clever little nickname for their opponents. Libtards, Rethuglicans, DemocRats, CONservatives, the list goes on. Politics are very emotional, we get wrapped up in it, and we never leave grade school, or even high school. We're a tribal species. We fight it, but we can't escape it.
