Trump Slump

The M$M media doesn't want to say it. They call it nervousness ahead of the election. But the stock market was doing fine while Hillary was comfortably ahead. When Trump started to close the gap, the market started slipping and now:

". . . the stock market’s slow, steady retreat as the 2016 election approaches continued Friday, with the market falling for a ninth straight day. Wall Street is now in its longest period of decline in more than three decades"

It would have been nice for M$M to cover policy more so people would know what's up!

But I ask for too much, clearly I want blood or something!

mine and millions of other retired Americans depend on our retirement investments to live. If Trump tanks the economy we can lose big.

Should I cash in my investments before Tuesday and stash the cash in my mattress?

The market supposedly went down the last week after Comey's letter and polls edging up for Trump.

Wall St. appears to be getting nervous of a Trump win.

All I'm asking is what should I do to perhaps protect my interests that I've worked so hard for all my life.

13. It's not just that Trump's policies will be bad, it is that Trump lacks all the qualities to fix it

When things go bad, the president has to be able to respond. We've seen this in action with Trump, he either sues, threatens to sue, name calls, blames others, picks a new fight on an unrelated issue...

None of these actions work for say Hurricane relief, a recession, an Earthquake, a terror attack, civil right violations... Trump will be useless as president. Sure Pence will do the day to day work or maybe not, but as we saw with W a CEO president that style of oval office doesn't work. Cheney it all behind the scenes were a nightmare. Imagine Trump, Guiliani and the sons all pulling strings behind the scene. Trump will be the worst president ever if elected. It isn't that hard for an educated person to see the fall coming. The US will not recover in your lifetime if he goes to the oval office. I would sell every stock I have on Nov 9th if he won, many others will too. It will be the start of a recession that won't end in his time in office.

what a tRump presidency will do to us.

But selling into what would be the biggest market crash of our lifetime, if he wins ( because after all, everybody will have the same idea as you) is not the best financial move either, in my opinion. Market is already down 5% just on a ~15% chance of him winning. And most of us will not get market priority sell orders on Nov. 9; will be lucky to get order filled at all on a day like that. Trading will likely be stopped several times,
