Try local biz instead. Small pest control companies try harder.

Spectator I: I think it was "Blessed are the cheesemakers".

Mrs. Gregory: Aha, what's so special about the cheesemakers?

Gregory: Well, obviously it's not meant to be taken literally; it refers to any manufacturers of dairy products.

- Life of Brian.

Likewise, it's not meant to be taken literally; it refers to any exterminator of noxious pests.

Until then, throw it in the garbage. Or burn it in your fireplace.

It can't hurt you.

My Republican sister was having a tough time after divorce and selling her home so I agreed to let her stay in my house while she got settled. It lasted longer than I expected. Fortunately she moved out in late June, before it became heated between us regarding the election. But I've been bombarded with rightwing mailers and phone calls for months.
