two thoughts on ibd/tipp poll demographics

http://www.investors.com/politics/ibd-tipp-presidential-election-poll/

1. Clinton is winning with people under $50K, they are about tied for people who make $50K-$75K, and trump is winning with people making over $75K. That destroys the narrative that Trump supporters are just scared and angry because they lost good paying jobs that never came back.

2. I never like how the media focuses on "independents" as if they can be swung either way, and these numbers prove why. Many independents are more conservative than republicans. They always vote republican, but do not want to be called republicans. I always thought that the media should focus on independents that are moderate.

I consider myself a moderate.
Of course any conservative would consider me a rabid, foaming at the mouth socialist.

Most of my colleagues make that at a minimum (a good portion are at double that), and out of 50 people that I can name off the top of my head, only two are trump supporters.

it also does not jive with Clinton winning with people with college degrees. you would think those two components would go hand in hand.

She went to Spence and her husband went to Groton - he's in shipping. They will be going out to their beach house in the Hamptons for thanksgiving.
Her reason for being such a big supporter is because of the estate tax. She is appalled that the deduction is so low and knows that the Orange One will do the right thing for her and her family
