Interesting split in my extended family between Hillary and Trump supporters
My large extended family is pretty evenly split between passionate supporters of both Hillary and Trump. The Trump side thinks everything can go on as usual, but the Hillary side is having none of it. We can't forgive our own deplorables for embracing evil, even if we all share the same DNA with them. But it seems to go deeper than even that. I notice that our Hillary family members all seem to be a lot more socially concerned in general about believing in the right things and go to some effort to help others understand what are the key issues that a person with a social conscious should have. But the Trump side seems to thrive on the image of being bad and selfish. It is like they don't really care, and really want to bask in the image of not caring.
