(119 posts)I stopped watching them when they started having these trump surrogates on every segment spewing lies and rarely being challenged on said lies. The continued use of Corey Lewandowski makes it easy for me to boycott them. Not sure I will ever patronize them again. I'm not alone either.

(67,089 posts)I think I'll watch CSPAN election night. I'm tired of M$M reality TV and tabloid journalism.

There's plenty to watch even with the TV off. Pop over to You Tube if it's too lousy to go outside or check out free fare on some of the subscription sites. Or just realize vegging out in front of the TV isn't in the cards right now and do a chore you've been putting off.
I turned broadcast news off in 2004 and was surprised by how little I missed it. When I got a dish in 2006, I just never bothered to turn on any of the news channels. There is life without blow dried bobbleheads treating minutiae as The End of Civilization while ignoriung the very real stories out there, like the impact of low wages on the economy and how little return in jobs we get for every dollar that goes to the Pentagon or climate change of heaven forbid the pernicious effect of wealth concentration on the government.
I'm keeping those corporate assholes off my computer and TV screens until one of them turns honest and maybe then they'll be worth watching once in a while. For now, no. They lost me 12 years ago.
