Swing state report

The GOTV effort here in PA is amazing, and has been intensive since September. Our tiny local office is humming at all hours with phone bankers and canvassers. The young people who work there are destined for great things - if not in politics, law or public service, then in sales because they upsell at every opportunity. Offer to work voter registration? They get you to commit to canvassing.
One of the advantages of being a swing state is the celebrities!
My husband and are are doing our canvassing today, and when we come back to HQ GLORIA STEINEM will be there. After that, one of my girlfriends and I are driving the HQ in her suburb (20 minutes away) to meet CHELSEA CLINTON
So no early voting, little say in the primaries, deluged with campaign commercials, but damn, this year we are gettin some ATTENTION.
