Trump At 43%. Embarrassing, Sickening, Unacceptable.

Really? That fucking dickhead Trump should be in the teens percentage wise. The guy is a psychopathic delusional sadistic sexual predator for Christ's sake. And his supporters and voters are as sick as he is. I do give a shit how scared they are. We are revealing how god damned sick our country is. And I am not sure we can heal it. And I will rub it in and make it hurt for Trump supporters when it is over an Hillary wins.

I also have no intention of even trying to come together. Trumpers are saying no compromise and will fight Hillary every step of the way. They are indicating they are going to be even more racist, bigoted, misogynistic and hateful than ever. So we seem to be facing a cultural insurrection for a long time as we go forward. The RW churches are going to be screaming bloody murder because they can't replace the Constitution with the Bible. They want their tax breaks as well as the ability to politicize their churches completely.

And I am sure the GOP will double down to make only GOPPERS can vote more easily. And it also looks like the GOP will work at making sure we have NO functioning government as we move forward.

So it looks like the GOP intends to foment a kind of civil war on the country if we elect Hillary and keep any Democrats in office. And the GOP plans to force a choice of US OR THEM on the country. No compromise no way no how for any reason in perpetuity.

And of course we are supposed to play nice and be BIPARTISAN with bunch of fucking POS.

hanging in the balance. With our quickly changing racial demographics, Republicans know their only hope to stop the eroding of white male priviliedge, including their oppressive religious beliefs, is by way of controlling our Judicial Branch. Because of that, Hitler himself would be guaranteed 40% of the vote if he was the Republican nominee.

some of whom are in Congress and are leading by example. There are also the Hillary haters who would, as you say, vote for Hitler before voting for her. We make a mistake when we characterize all Trump supporters as poorly educated, lower income, and racist. Early on, I was buoyed by the number of Republicans I know personally who said they would vote for Hillary. Now I suspect many are falling back in line precisely because of the SC. I will be dismayed but not surprised if he holds 40% of the electorate.

Sun Nov 6, 2016, 01:12 PM
Nov 2016

Just think about what you said. Now I did not see your OP but I have written something probably similar 2 or 3 years ago and was thwacked for it as being over the top. We are in a civil war of sorts because we have mental mind sets that are completely opposite. One is hateful and destructive of just about everything. And the other wants to move forward. Never the twain shall meet at this point.

Obama's presidency and the obstruction he has faced over 8 years. Secessionist sentiments on a notable part of the electorate. Virtually no reaching across the aisle by the GOP on just about every issue. The "all my way" or I will destroy mentality. The SCOTUS appointment mess is a key example of this non shooting civil war. And the latest protestations that the other side will not concede and not cooperate in governing with Hillary in the White House.

What we have is a virtual political and even cultural civil war with one faction determined to destroy the other. Be honest the GOP is trying to eliminate the Democratic party or anyone who is NOT a GOP supporter. Look at hate radio and look at all the murderous rhetoric saying that non GOPPERS are destroying the country, taking away all freedoms et al.

So if we are not in some kind of political and cultural civil war I don't know what else we could be in. What we are in makes the Hatfields & McCoys skirmish look like a birthday party.

The trouble is I do not know how we address it. And the battle lines are like Vietnam. There are no front lines.

This country is sick.

We see it with Trump, we saw it with the Bundys, and again with the acquittal.

There are a lot of people (millions of them) who want to see everything burned down so they can rebuild it according to their twisted vision.

We need to find a way to bring these people back into mainstream society.

18. You have to remember a couple of things.
Sun Nov 6, 2016, 01:13 PM
Nov 2016

1. 50% of the population have an IQ of 100 or less.
2. A large percentage of the population get all of their news from TV or radio.
3. The MSM has done an abysmal job of reporting on policy
4. The MSM has treated the election as an episode of The Apprentice

How many people do you think actually read something like Newsweek or Time? If the read at all it is People or Entertainment Weekly (or maybe Field and Stream or Car and Driver), let alone something like The Atlantic or Barron's.

The MSM has completely given up on actually reporting News. They have completely given up on analysing what they report on. Can you imagine a Trump surrogate trying to defend Trump's plan to privatize roads and highways? Or try and discuss the logistics and costs of deporting 4 million people? Have you hears even one talking head discuss the freaking COST of building a wall along the Mexican border?

Have you heard anyone talk about the fact that Trump seems to have absolutely NO idea of how our government works or what the Constitution says? How laws are made? How taxation works?

That's why Trump is running neck and neck with Hillary. That's why we keep getting this POS Congress critters elected, the ones who refuse to do their jobs. The ones who have said publically that if Hillary gets elected they will refuse to fill any SCOTUS vacancies for as long as there is a Democrat in the White House.

And folks, it ain't going to get any better. The US is on a downward spiral to oligarchy/theocracy every bit as bad as what ISIS is doing and I don't know if we can reverse it or not. There doesn't seem to be any will to do so. I truly fear that the US I grew up in is gone forever and I have no idea what is going to rise in its place. Our Democratic Republic is toast.

rather is the baseline or reference point for what is average. Therefore, having a 100 IQ doesn't mean someone is unintelligent, but merely that he has perfectly normal intelligence--at least to the degree that IQ can be said to measure intelligence.

We can only hope it is not even close and the results will tell us what % of the population are with us. I worry about the Senate but it will be what it will be.

The next thing to focus on is the mid-terms.

If we don't take the Senate this election and the GOPers refuse to consider or confirm Hillary's SC Justice(s) I think that will motivate a lot of sane people to put Dems into office in 2019 but we need a full scale GOTV effort toward that goal.A 50 state strategy from now on and no more pussy-footing or playing nice with Teabaggers. If there are some sane GOPers still in Congress sure, then we need to nurture and encourage their help playing to their patriotism and love of country.
