Where will all the stress go when we lose ours on Wednesday?

(46,179 posts)my stress will be right here with me, because it's due to several other things.
It's true I will be relieved to have it over; everyone else's election-related stress, hate, rabid frothings, anxiety, and yelling IS draining. But then, it will just be rabid demands for blind, lock-step support if she wins, along with dreadful predictions of falling skies from the other side, or constant wailing, moaning, and gnashing of teeth if she loses, along with a big rush of gleeful hate set free on the other side. It's not as if political stress will be gone.

(46,179 posts)But stress about the election is just a small part of my life. Yes, I want to see Trump go down. Since I don't do fear, and don't do hate, and the things that would bring me inspiration and joy aren't on the table, I'm simply not worked up about it.

I fear what Trump has released.
