Election in Flux
I have now read and listened to several stories about the impact of the revelation that, as we already knew, that there was nothing in these emails.
Many are stating that this is unlikely add to Clinton's vote totals as much of her voting is already baked in. I am willing to concede that. A vast majority of people are already voting or voted for Clinton. Vast majority of states are already locked for her.
IMHO, I think the impact will be much more significant to both apprehensive trump voters and zealots alike.
apprehensive trump voters, who have not voted yet but were going to vote for trump reluctantly. I think this will give them pause.
For zealots this wil be disheartening and deflating as trump really played this all up and now it's nothing and it's all said and done and there is nothing there.
In both cases it may discourage them from voting at all. Not many but in closer states like Ohio or Arizona, it could be one of many factors to help Clinton lock in those states.
