What about Harry Reid for DNC Chair?

He is leaving the Senate. He really hates Trump and he knows how to win--he delivered Nevada to HRC and his Senate seat which the GOP had high hopes of winning.

I'm not saying he should be DNC chair just want some opinions.

Yeah, he's an establishment "elite" - but who cares. The man says whatever he wants - fights for what he believes in and doesn't back down. He definitely knows how to build a ground game, he knows all the important people in the Democratic party and understands how to talk to the working class all the same. With his retirement, he will have time to devote to the DNC job, which will be very demanding. He likely doesn't want it, but I bet if enough people asked, he would serve.

For slapping down my Senator Jeff Merkley's filibuster reform, instead choosing to trust Mitch McConnell, when he said he wouldn't misuse the filibuster.

8. I'm all in for Ellison, but Reid is a force to be reckoned with. But he is retiring.

I won't begrudge the man for that after all the years of service he's given to the nation.
