The list is endless. Most recently, the more numerous and serious the allegations against Trump were, the more serious the media made Clinton's email issue out to be.

This practically guaranteed a Trump win. There was quite literally nothing he could be accused of, no gaffe or hateful behavior he could exhibit, that wouldn't simply cause more media harping on the emails. Because "balance".
