This Short Film Is the Darkest and Most Imaginative Take on Trumps Immigration Plan Yet
The unlikely candidacy and subsequent election of Donald Trump has inspired many content creators to give their own unique twist to the real life drama. Some, like comedians David Carl and Anthony Atamanuik, have channeled Trump as impressionists, while other artists have found a more, uhh, unsightly way to artistically represent the Republican nominee turned President-elect.
And then theres Ale Damiani, the Mexican-born director who helmed a short film called M.A.M.O.N., which stands for Monitor Against Mexicans Over Nationwide. Its a cruel, dark, often hilarious depiction (and wildly imaginative exaggeration) of how Trumps American would impact those south of the border.
Oh, and for transparency sake since hes now our President-elect: it doesnt end well for Trump.
The film chronicles the utter destruction that has been brought on Mexicans who are quite literally being tossed back over Trumps big, beautiful wall. And the gringo wants to charge us for the wall! says one of the disenfranchised, unleashing Trump in the form of a robotic automatron focused on the destruction of all who oppose him.
