A well-known Seattle city councilwoman has been on the receiving end of vicious threats and racist comments after encouraging protesters to shut down President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration, reports Q13 Fox.

According to a spokeswoman for Kshama Sawant — one of the few socialist office holders in the U.S. — the councilwoman has been flooded with angry emails and phone calls for encouraging continuing protests against Trump.
