Nikki Haley for SECSTATE? She has a fucking ACCOUNTING DEGREE!!!

To say nothing of her past sex scandals, open marriage, affair with Will Folks, etc.

Yeah, she's perfect for SECSTATE--she'll make this government a true kakistocracy!!!

Joe Scarborough just called in to MSNBC to float her name as one the Trumphumpers are considering.

If he picks her, that will be one of his STUPIDEST picks ever, on the lines of choosing Stevie Wonder to do your open heart surgery.

9. I know more about nuclear physics than she knows about diplomacy!

And I know zip about nuclear physics!

I'm wondering if she could find, say, Burundi on a map of the world. I'm thinking ... naaaaaah.

She's got a degree in accounting--make her the Treasury Secretary! If she has a nice signature, that's a plus in that job!

Alexander Hamilton weeps....

And she's not flat chested, so she has a chance at the coveted "Trump Ten!"

Note to jury: That was abject, bitter sarcasm, and this is the reference: http://www.dailywire.com/news/4157/7-quotes-show-donald-trump-doesnt-women-amanda-prestigiacomo#modal

"A woman who is very flat-chested is very hard to be a 10."

Speaking of actress Nicollette Sheridan, Trump told Howard Stern back in 2005 that women, whom he apparently grades on a numeric scale based on their appearance, will have a hard time earning a “10” grade if they are “very flat-chested.”

3. Do you actually think he will choose qualified people?

His administration is amateur hour and no appointment will surprise me. Qualifications seem to be a disqualifying factor.

Just a bunch of power-hungry, ego-maniacal, morons without the first clue about what to do in office or how to manage Donald Trump.

Even though I'm not a big fan of hers, I do think she's one of the few who would tell trump like it is. She's not a fan of his.

governorship to a major Trump supporter, Lt Gov. Henry McMaster.

http://www.fitsnews.com/2016/11/16/nikki-haley-for-secretary-of-state/

..."If Trump were to appoint Haley to a cabinet post, he would clear a path for S.C. lieutenant governor Henry McMaster to ascend to the office he covets – the governorship of South Carolina.

Not only that, McMaster – one of Trump’s most influential Palmetto State supporters – would have the power of incumbency on his side in the upcoming 2018 campaign for this office.

“This is a sop to Henry,” one Palmetto political observer told us, noting McMaster’s recent comments about eschewing a Washington, D.C. job in favor of running for governor in 2018."....

11. From what I understand, this is more about the SC Lt Gov than it is about Haley
Wed Nov 16, 2016, 10:11 PM

The Lt Gov of SC apparently was a bigly Trump supporter. Making Haley Sec State makes the Lt Gov, Trump's dear friend, the Governor of South Carolina. Plum extracted, debt paid.

You'd think she could be "extracted" with a slightly less critical gig as bait, though...?

It's not going to be a cabinet, it will be a confederacy of dunces! (with apologies to the late John Kennedy Toole and Jonathan Swift!).

14. Nikki Haley is a pathological liar.

She has lied over and over about things that were easily proved wrong.
She makes a good impression and I will give her credit for her handling of the respose to Hurricane Matthew. That is the ONLY thing I will credit her for.

She has ZERO experience to be considered for SOS.
My head hurts.

Trump's principal criterion is that appointees kissed his ass during the election. That by its very nature excludes everyone qualified.

16. Good observation
Thu Nov 17, 2016, 05:47 AM
Nov 2016

No one with any qualification for a cabinet post or top White House post kissed Trump's ass during the campaign, so no such people will be in our next government.

It's even worse than the situation in the fictional "Seven Days In May." At least there, the good guys were in the White House and the bad guys were in the military.

Trump's proposed National Security "adviser" is a guy who has worked for Turkey, it appears. How ironic. Turkey is a country where the military has often intervened to save the country from a corrupt, incompetent government. We haven't yet devolved to that, but nor have we yet had a government that promises to be as corrupt or as incompetent as the incoming one.

18. The Turkish dictator....errrr....President wants a dissident who has been living in Pennsylvania.
Thu Nov 17, 2016, 07:13 AM

He wants him in order to kill him because he believed he engineered the failed coup against him.

I have some good friends in Turkey who are right now in fear of their lives. I share their fears and wish they could get out. Erdogan is going after the military in a big -- or should we say "bigly" -- way. He wants to destroy the legacy of Ataturk.
