Rally, day before the election showed everyone why we loved him. He was exciting and inspiring. He had the crowd fired up, she came on and threw a wet blanket on the crowd. She was handed an electric crowd and quickly brought them down. My husband and I just cringed. You need someone who can connect with a crowd. It is terrible, but true. She just didn't have "It". She was the most qualified, the only candidate qualified, but was not able to inspire the Bernie crowd. The FBI just put the final nails in the coffin. We had the money, the ground operation, the best surrogates possible but we had the wrong candidate.

Politics isn't a beauty contest FFS
It's about coalitions that band together to elect people that govern in their collective interest
That takes tradeoffs, compromise, and progress an inch at a time
They all can't get everything they want by very definition

Politicians aren't marionettes sent down to entertain us
Competence, talent, mastery and skill is being replaced by showmanship and what qualifies today as "strong leadership".
It's now commonplace not just in politics but in business too
Don't get me started on the world of entertainment. Ugh.

I'm so sick of hearing about candidates not inspiring people to vote
7 million didnt bother coming out or voted fringe versus 4 years ago
I'm sure der trumpenlooper will inspire your asses, that's for sure

We've seen the enemy, we are they.

You must be exceptional, and without blemish. This has a proven track record. People are stupid
End of story. She was smart and qualified, unfortunately not enough.
