About those fake news stories on facebook...

what do you do when you see them? I have one friend who posts them AROUND THE CLOCK. I can't believe she buys into this shit. She is a retired English teacher.

I could spend much of my day commenting on the crap she posts, especially before the election.

You know, using facts. It didn't work (it's really true that many of us are post-fact), and like you said, it took too much time.

If they do respond, they tell you that Politifact, Snopes, or any other fair source are not to be trusted, there's nothing else to do.

A few of my post-fact FB friends do seem to be catching on after the many stories about fake news.
