Today, I'm bummed out and angry

Not a winning combo.

Believe it or not, it's the damn Hamilton tweet that has thrown me over the edge. The 'man' is a classless buffoon from hell. He's not even in office yet and he's a massive fucking embarrassment. He makes GW look scholarly.

What is happening to our country?

Seeing people on FB freaking out about Hamilton and how "wrong" it was of them to address Pence is nauseating.
Freedom of speech? Apparently it's only for the Rethugs.

I'm full of anger and hate. I have NOTHING nice to say to or about anyone who voted for this shit show. He's unstable and completely out of his damn mind.

How can our country survive four years of this??? He's got people so riled up.

It's just wrong.

Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.

I'm mad because I feel like something should be done. Did he REALLY win, or was this a Russian hack?? Even Trump thought he was going to lose.

Ugh. I guess my tinfoil is coming out to play. But really... what the fuck?

As I was driving home there was a giant red truck in front of me that was swerving and driving almost 20 miles under the speed limit. That happens often out here - the cliffs are stunningly beautiful....

When I really LOOKED at the giant truck I saw a tRump/pence sticker and a Texas plate.... He finally pulled over by a campsite.... I flipped him off blatantly - I cannot remember the last time I have done that to someone.

YOU are NOT alone.

I have not seen all that much agitation about Hamilton.

Of course that may be because I unfriended all my Trump supporting "friends" on 11-9. Unfriended a couple of Bernie supporters too.

Now I hardly hear about politics except for one former teacher who keeps saying he is going to fight for the Muslims, non-cis and immigrants, and for some reason I sometimes see my friends' posts as they react to their own Trump supporting friends.

Seems to me that if one ignores the tempest in the teapot, that it thereby loses a whole lot of its power.

At least it loses its power to rile me up.

I see it as a man who is supposed to be Presidential- or at the very least, professional.
He goes on the attack about everything and its not normal.
Could you imagine if Barack had spent the last 8 years tweeting about BS?????

I'm SO over the DU members who like to shit all over people like it's their job.
We get it. You're snarky. Go hang with the cool kids and tell the rest of us peons we can't sit with you.
If you're not upset and my annoyance is lame to you- move on.

Cue me raising a one fingered salute.

Trump won the antiquated electoral vote with the help of unprecedented media coverage, voter suppression, Russia and the FBI yet they STILL could not win the popular vote - THERE ARE MORE OF US THAN THEM and we need to keep making them understand WE ARE ON TO THEM

These miscreants spent eight years insulting Obama, with pussy-grabber as one of the instigators.

This asshole won because he is a consummate con artist. Plus there was a four year campaign to demonize Clinton.

and I was yelling at the gd TV about Der Trumpenfuhrer and how here it is 80 years--EIGHTY f'in years-- later and now we have
a damn fascist, racist, bigoted a$$hole who expects everybody to salute him and his misogynistic, bigoted, racist vp Pence.

The cast had every right to speak from the stage. It was a privately owned theater and the patrons don't make the rules. You don't like
what is being said? Leave. If anybody owes anyone an apology, Trump owes the American people an apology for his rude, crude, hateful
campaign.

Fu*k Trump. And Pence. They get no respect from me. And neither do the people who voted for them.

So, you are not alone, LibraLiz1973.

about this election. I left teaching pretty much because of it. I saw this shit coming.

Intelligent people using reason do not fall for the blatant propaganda that the RW has been successfully perpetrating on the American public. People who think logically do not elect a lying, cheating, crass, despotic bully after spending 8 years screaming that the guy who was just doing his job was a dictator.

I saw through my students and their parents that things were going downhill in this exact way and was powerless to stop it.

I have never been more angry in my life. And people say turn that anger into action. Tell me what action will stop Trump? He has stolen the election and those who helped him do it will help him fuck up this country forever.

And that particular tweet? Anyone who can't see why that could be a flashpoint aren't paying attention.
