something divisive or racist or hateful or mysoginistic. Every single time donate or call the victim or join a group or reach out to your neighbours, shovel a driveway, buy a coffee for a homeless person, etc. Every single time we should react to hate with love. If all liberals did that the USA would be the best country in the world in no time.....and all to spite Trump and weaken him. And extra-governmental structure of connectedness could be the legacy instead of Trump. People are doing it automatically.

1. I am encouraged at the amount of activism that's sprung up in the short time

since the election. There was an article in the local paper today about how donations to social service organizations and offers to volunteer have shot through the roof. The local branch of organization that started as an offshoot of Bernie Sanders' movement, Our Revolution, had 700 people at its first meeting last week and continues to grow. My own neighborhood is developing a network of people who want to get involved rather than just sit at the computer and complain. I was at a meeting of such people this morning - just a small group so far, but we hope to grow - and a couple of people spoke about their young gay family members who were terrified about what might happen next. We need to get together to protect vulnerable people and let the Trumpers know how strongly they will be opposed.

It is good to see how people are getting involved so immediately. We were kind of complacent, unfortunately; but getting our collective ass kicked in such a bad way has changed that very quickly, I think.

2. Yes. It has sprung up quite naturally by good people everywhere. Interconnectedness

is the only way to go to defeat Trump and the GOP.
